I emigrated from the UK to New Zealand for the space and the great outdoors.

I was living in a little town called Lyttelton, in the South Island. I loved the surfing, tramping and community atmostphere, but the winters got to me and I embarked on my Aussie sabbatical in 2008.

I moved to Elwood in Melbourne. There's no surf here, but it is by the bay.

 I don't need a car as much so my bike is my main mode of transport.
