Alex Hallatt is a freelance cartoonist and
writer based in Australia, with clients in the US, NZ, Australia
and the UK. She provides cartoon illustrations for newspapers,
books, magazines
and other printed
material, as well as creating flash animation
for advertisements, games, corporate presentations, e-cards
and web sites.
Cartoon
strips and single
panel cartoons can be commissioned for magazines, newspapers
and the web. Alex's comic strip, Arctic
Circle, is distributed worldwide by King Features
Syndicate (including The Age in Melbourne, where
she currently lives) and is blogged about on Wordpress.
Alex often works on flash animation and design
for multimedia companies such as screamoutloud.co.uk.
The most recent one was about a time-travelling alien schoolchild
for a
Museum of London flash game.
Every now and then, Alex designs web
sites at affordable prices for businesses and organisations
like London
Street Restaurant and Lyttelton
Farmers Market, or nice people, like Alexandra
Woods, a talented artist, with a penchant for painting
cows.
Moontoon.com is an online portfolio of her
work and the rest of this site isn't written in the third
person, because she finds it a bit weird.
